The theme for this year’s summit is “Goals to Transform Our World”. The summit brings together all the stakeholders who can enable and support each other to create shared value that helps in the achievement of SDGs.
This innovative strategy program, developed and led by HBS faculty chair Michael E. Porter, along with Mark R. Kramer, brings together senior business leaders to examine strategies for addressing society's challenges through profitable shared value business models. Going beyond social responsibility, philanthropy, and sustainability, Shared Value represents a new way to achieve economic success.
By invitation only
A healthy, productive workforce can only be fully realized if the community in which they live and work actively promotes a culture of health. Driven by increased focus on equitable access to healthcare, rising costs and the move towards outcome-based care, employers around the country are looking outward to engage cross-sector partners to address the social determinants of health in the places they do business.

The Africa Shared Value Summit is modelled on the successful Shared Value Leadership Summit held annually in New York.
Shift Social Development, the team of women behind the summit, aims to create an annual platform where Shared Value practitioners can share their stories and influence businesses and brands in the creation of Shared Value, thus embodying their mantra, profit with purpose.
