Bobbi Silten

As the managing director of the Shared Value Initiative, Bobbi leads a global community of leaders who find business solutions for societal challenges.

She also works to build smarter models to address the changing needs of our communities, the environment, and business. Bobbi has been a long-time practitioner of leading social change through business and she brings deep experience as a purpose-driven business leader. During her time as head of the Gap Foundation she oversaw the creation of the P.A.C.E. program for female garment workers as well as This Way Ahead, a first jobs program for underserved youth leveraging Gap Inc. leaders and stores. Previously, Bobbi spent 12 years at Gap Inc. where she most recently served as EVP, Global Talent & Sustainability and was responsible for the company’s talent agenda. She sat on the company’s senior leadership team and also oversaw communications, government affairs, sustainability, and Gap Foundation. She joined Gap Inc. as the head of Gap Foundation and led the transformation of the organization based on a shared value strategy. Prior to joining Gap Inc., she was President & Commercial General Manager, Dockers U.S., a Levi Strauss & Co. brand. Bobbi co-founded and chaired Reimagining Service, a national cross-sector effort to increase the impact of volunteering and in 2011 was appointed by President Obama to serve on the White House Council for Community Solutions.

Reema is the director of partner engagement and programs with the Shared Value Initiative where she collaborates with the SVI team and community to enhance and position its thought leadership.

In this role she leads engagement with the Initiative’s community of partners and works with the SVI team to develop and deliver innovative programming that adds value and advances the practice of shared value. Prior to joining FSG, Reema was involved in global health and social development work through her time with the US Pharmacopeia (USP) and University Research Co. (URC), where she led business development and consulting efforts focused on: pharmaceutical quality and its impact in low-to-middle-income countries; gender equity and inclusion in nutrition practices at the intersection of reproductive, maternal, and child health matters; and, the quality of service delivery in TB eradication efforts in Uganda. Prior to 2012, she spearheaded partnership efforts dedicated to the unique commercial and economic relationships between the United States and the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region through her work with the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) and the US-Jordan Business Alliance (USJBA). This involved stakeholder engagement, external affairs, government relations, and program development, including private sector advocacy for the ratification of the US-Jordan Free Trade Agreement and the US-Bahrain Free Trade Agreement.

As associate director of communications of the Shared Value Initiative, Alicia leads strategic communications thinking in order to build a movement of companies engaged in shared value.

Alicia is a marketing and communications professional skilled in crafting outreach strategies for complex subjects to engage diverse audiences. She comes to FSG with over 10 years of experience building communications plans for companies committed to systemic social and environmental change. Alicia worked as the marketing communications manager at Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships, a nonprofit whose mission is to accelerate energy efficiency as a core strategy to meet energy needs in a carbon-constrained world. There she oversaw a marketing team to provide strategic direction, campaign and message development, content creation, media outreach, website support, digital marketing, and event marketing targeted to a wide range of audiences.

As senior program manager at the SVI, Georgie helps oversee programming and activities that support shared value leaders, and manages the Purpose Playbook.

In this role Georgie works with the team to develop tools such as the Purpose Playbook, and organize events such as ideas exchanges, the Leadership Summit, and other collaborative programs that bring together shared value innovators working to activate their purpose by creating shared value. Georgie comes to the SVI with experience as a financial journalist in New York, where her focus was primarily on impact investing and developments across emerging-market economies and financial communities. She brings a global perspective to the SVI’s work through her international upbringing and experiences studying and researching in developing countries.

Sam Wollak

As digital marketing manager, Sam supports the Initiative’s marketing efforts to build brand equity and engage a community of leaders who find business opportunities in addressing societal challenges.

Sam is a marketing and communications professional with previous experience in crafting and implementing marketing strategies for nonprofits, membership associations, B2B, and B2C companies. He has a passion for working with organizations and causes tackling some of society’s most pressing challenges and is excited to apply a shared value lens to further this work. As digital marketing manager, Sam supports the Shared Value Initiative and Talent Rewire teams’ marketing efforts in order to strengthen their brands and engage new and existing partners and audiences to build a community of leaders who find business opportunities in addressing societal challenges. Prior to his role with FSG, Sam spent several years working in marketing-related roles at nonprofit membership associations such as AARP, PBS, and WGBH. In these roles he provided strategic direction, marketing campaign oversight, project management, content creation, paid media support, website support, performance reporting, and internal communications support on numerous marketing campaigns and initiatives targeting a range of audiences.

Imani supports the Shared Value Initiative's managing director while also supporting operations for FSG's San Francisco office.

In addition to Imani’s several years of administrative experience, she brings great passion and empathy for social issues taking place today. She has particular compassion for people facing homelessness and children who have experienced trauma. Her upbeat attitude and optimistic mindset support her eagerness to uplift others and make a positive impact in the world. Prior to joining FSG, Imani has had various types of work experiences, mainly pertaining to administration. A highlight of Imani’s experiences was completing the Year Up program, where she earned a 6-month internship with Pandora Media to work as a program coordinator on their diversity team. Imani is currently studying psychology at Diablo Valley Community College. She will obtain her AA by May 2020 and plans to attend a university to finish pursuing her educational journey.
