BioAs Member Services Manager, Katie works directly with the Consultant Affiliate Network to ensure a high quality member experience. Katie manages the membership process, including recruitment and retention, as well as supports the training, knowledge exchanges, and other community and educational opportunities for Affiliate firms. Prior to joining the Initiative, Katie worked at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School where she worked directly with Michael Porter to manage the Microeconomics of Competitiveness (MOC) program. As part of her role, she managed the MOC Affiliate Network, a group of more than 100 universities around the world that implement the MOC curriculum and collaborate in the area of competitiveness. Before her time at HBS, Katie worked in education consulting, managing a diverse portfolio of education and organizational development projects throughout Latin America, primarily with ministries of education. Katie has an MBA in Non-Profit Management and an MA in Sustainable International Development, both from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management. She also has a BA in Spanish Languages and Literatures and Global Studies from Pacific Lutheran University.
