BioCarol Moore joined the Global Partnerships and Alliances team at Heifer International in November, 2011. She is responsible for managing a portfolio of partnerships and strategic alliances with corporations, foundations and international NGOs. Carol has 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Her career includes senior level fundraising, strategic alliance and management positions with CARE; Emory University Institute for Developing Nations and Rollins School of Public Health; St. Charles Medical Center, Bend, Oregon; and Atlanta International School. Carol served as the first executive director of the Society of International Business Fellows, a private, Atlanta-based association for senior executives engaged in international business, trade and finance. At Heifer International, Carol manages the organization’s relationships with Keurig Green Mountain, MasterCard Foundation, The Coca-Cola Company, Clinton Global Initiative, Clinton Foundation, PepsiCo, FSG and Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs. In 2012, Carol led Heifer’s first-ever corporate summit, Beyond the Bottom Line: Creating Shared Value through Partnership. Currently, she is working on an organization-wide initiative to strengthen Heifer International’s corporate development expertise at the country office level. Carol is a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow; a member of the Society of International Business Fellows; a member of the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE); a member of FSG's INGO Working Group on Shared Value; and a founding member of the World Affairs Council of Atlanta. Carol received her undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta and her Master in International Service degree from American University in Washington, DC. She has completed executive education courses at Harvard Business School, London Business School, Notre Dame and the Center for Creative Leadership. Her areas of expertise include international development; cross-sector partnerships; major gift, foundation and corporate fundraising; and trends in corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility and shared value. Carol has worked, traveled and studied in 40 countries. She lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
