Government committee “eternally grateful” for shared value model

Businesses seek to generate value which a variety of stakeholders enjoy, whether they be shareholders, creditors, customers, employees, suppliers, government or community. It’s reasonable to assume there will always be a healthy tension amongst the stakeholders as to what the proportions are. It’s management’s job to look after that as any unfairness may prove unsustainable which ultimately is not good for any stakeholder over the long term. However “creating shared value” describes strategies that seek to generate greater value for those stakeholders to enjoy.
